Wet Car and lots of RAIN!

It was just before lunch time when it started raining yesterday (yes! rain! in Los Angeles!). But it was just a drizzle. By the time school ended at 2:18 it was pretty much RAINing. Now by that I mean pretty heavy by OUR standards here. In other areas it was probably just sprinkling.

I returned the key to the office and headed out to my car. Do you know what an amazing feeling it is to go toward a car that doesn't have holes in the roof. A car that you know will be DRY inside? Well, it's amazing. That simple.

But of course I now feel bad that I didn't protect the holes in the Miata from the rain. We've had pretty heavy rain, and overnight even more, so I suspect it's pretty wet. I mean, there is a gash (at the seam) about 4-5inches long, and at the wides about an inch. That's big for rain, I think. I'll take a picture at some point. So I will go and try to do something to help it before I leave for work today.

What does the RAIN mean? It means that the mountains have SNOW. Actually SNOW, not the ICE that we "played" with a few weeks ago (and yea, totally failed at picture story telling, but that's because of Bro who didn't give them to me!). Bro told me last night that he's planning on going to Frazier Park on Saturday. It should still be raining, therefore also snowing! Which would be EXCELLENT. I think I mentioned how much I want to see it snow. Nikki? Would be soooo amazed! HOPEFULLY, though, the roads won't be closed, which is what happened in December preventing us from going. Bro has chains, so if that's needed - no problem. Oh. And Bro likes to read this here blog. YOU ARE NOT TAKING MY CAR! Yea. Just wanted to clear that up a bit.

Overnight I woke up a couple of times (woke up at 1am thinking it was already time to get up) and it was raining pretty hard...and it was so nice. I laid, just listening to the rain falling... it was so peaceful. Unfortunately I fell asleep quickly.

Damn. I left my umbrella in my car. Oh well.

By the way? It's FRIDAY!
