Backed Up

I'm getting backed up on posts. Who knew that I'd actually have an adult job this month? At least for 9 days in a row (sans weekends). I've mentioned that I'm working 15 of 19 days this month. Monday's I have school all night (except next week; my second class is canceled) and last night I came home and went to bed.

Today? I spent the entire afternoon and evening with Nikki. On Sunday when I took her to the bookstore because I wanted to pick something up (but didn't find anything, but she did, and I bought it for her!) we were talking about I don't know and it came up that the next day, Monday, I wouldn't get to see her since I'd be in work all day, and then go straight to school. She was really upset. "Pero voy a querer verte!" ("But I'm going to want to see you!") in a very whiny voice. I explained the best I could that I just wasn't going to be able to see her. So today? She didn't leave my side. I even had to wipe her crotch after she peed, something she usually does on her own. It was nice, though. We watched TV. We read books. We played games. We watched videos. We had a good time.

But that means that I haven't had time to blog as much as I'd like. Night time comes and I'm tired and ready to go to sleep (the new medicine that makes me sleepy helps with that, too). So although I WANT to tell you about my day subbing yesterday and today, I can't.
